Attending Our Services and Events

Our services and publicly advertised events are open to all. We welcome people from every background, regardless of faith, culture, age, or experience. We ask only that all visitors and attendees conduct themselves with respect, dignity, and care for those around them.

In attending our services and events, you agree to behave in a manner consistent with our values as a Christian community — with kindness, honesty, and regard for others. We reserve the right to ask any individual to leave if their behaviour is causing harm, distress, or disruption to others.

Children and Safeguarding

The safety of children and vulnerable adults is of the highest importance to us. We operate in full compliance with safeguarding best practice as set out by the New Testament Church of God denomination and UK law. All activities involving children are supervised by trained and DBS-checked workers.

Parents and guardians are responsible for their children at all times unless they have formally registered their child with one of our supervised children’s activities. We ask that all adults on our premises act in accordance with our safeguarding policy at all times. Our full Safeguarding Policy is available on request.

Photography and Filming at Events

We may take photographs or video recordings at our services and events for the purpose of communicating our ministry, sharing on our website and social media, and for our internal records. By attending our events, you acknowledge this.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform one of our team before or during the event. We will always make reasonable efforts to accommodate your wishes.

You must not photograph, film, or record other attendees without their knowledge and consent. Any recording of a sermon or service for personal use is permitted, but broadcasting, live-streaming, or publicly sharing such recordings requires our prior written consent.

Children’s Work and Young People’s Ministries

Children and young people’s activities — including Sunday school, youth groups, and holiday clubs — operate under separate registration and consent procedures. If you wish to bring a child to any such activity, you will be asked to provide consent and relevant contact information. Please speak to our welcome team or contact us in advance.

Donations and Giving

Charitable Status

New Testament Church of God Luton is a registered charity. All donations made to us are applied to the advancement of our charitable purposes, which include the advancement of the Christian faith, the provision of community benefit, and the support of those in need.

Charitable donations may be eligible for Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer. By completing a Gift Aid declaration, you authorise us to reclaim tax on your donation at the basic rate of income tax, at no additional cost to you. It is your responsibility to ensure you have paid sufficient UK income or capital gains tax to cover any Gift Aid reclaim.

How Donations Are Used

All funds received are used exclusively for the charitable purposes of NTCG Luton. This includes:

• The costs of running our Sunday services and weekly programmes
• Community outreach and social action projects
• Support for families and individuals in need
• The maintenance and development of our facilities
• Contributions to the national NTCG body and its programmes
• Support for mission work in the UK and abroad

We do not distribute surplus funds to individuals. Any remaining funds at the end of a financial year are carried forward for charitable use.

If we direct you to a third-party giving platform (such as Give.net, Enthuse, or another provider), your donation and the associated data will be processed in accordance with that platform’s terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing those terms before completing your donation. We are not responsible for the operations or security of third-party platforms.

Refunds

Donations to a registered charity are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have made a donation in error or have a concern about a transaction, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@lutonntcg.org.uk and we will do our best to assist you. Refund decisions are made at the discretion of the church leadership and trustees in accordance with charity law.

Online Communication and Digital Services

Contact Forms and Enquiries

Information you submit through our contact forms is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We will not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your personal data.

Email and Newsletter Communications

If you subscribe to any email newsletter or communication from us, you will always have the option to unsubscribe at any time.
